Reach Biscarrosse from Bordeaux in complete serenity with Ben Driver. Eighty kilometres south of Bordeaux, Biscarrosse is an exceptional destination combining lake, ocean and Landes pine forest. Our VTC Bordeaux–Biscarrosse transfer service lets you arrive rested, free from parking stress and the traffic jams that paralyse access to the resort at the height of summer.
The route leaves Bordeaux via the southern ring road, takes the N250 towards the Landes coast, then crosses the forestry roads of the Landes de Gascogne massif. Maritime pine forest lines both sides of the road — a silent, restful crossing very different from the crowded summer motorways. Your private chauffeur knows the best time slots and alternative routes to avoid the usual Friday evening bottlenecks.
Biscarrosse offers rare diversity: the beaches of Biscarrosse-Plage on the Atlantic with their powerful waves and well-regarded surf spots, and the calm shores of Lac de Biscarrosse-Parentis for gentler water sports. Our private chauffeur takes you directly to your destination address, whether a campsite among the pines, a cottage, a villa or a hotel. Child seat available on request. Aboard a premium sedan or van, the 1h10 journey becomes the first relaxing moment of your holiday.
Traffic info
Discover Biscarrosse
Biscarrosse is a commune in the Landes department combining three distinct areas: Biscarrosse-Ville, Biscarrosse-Plage and the lake shores. Biscarrosse-Plage is one of the largest seaside resorts in the Landes, with fine sandy beach stretching for several kilometres, waves ideal for surfing and bodyboarding, and a lively summer atmosphere with numerous restaurants, bars and boutiques. Le Boudigau and the Plage des Sauveteurs are particularly popular with locals.
Lac de Biscarrosse-Parentis, at 3,600 hectares, is one of the largest natural lakes in France: sailing, jet-skiing, carp and pike fishing, wakeboarding and paddleboarding are all popular here. Watersport centres and sailing schools offer introductory lessons for all levels. The Landes pine forest surrounds everything and offers cycling and walking escapes on the countless marked trails of the forest massif.
Biscarrosse is also known for its exceptional aeronautical history: it is here that Latécoère launched its first seaplanes in the 1930s, making the lake a testing ground for the giants of transatlantic aviation. The Hydravions museum, set on the lake shore, retraces this unique industrial epic with scale models, archives and testimonials. In summer, the resort hosts the Journées de l'Hydraviation, a spectacular airshow event. For military history enthusiasts, the Second World War bunkers buried in the forest also merit a visit.
