Le trajet dure environ 1 heure via l'A63. En juillet–août, les week-ends peuvent être très chargés sur l'autoroute, avec des ralentissements à partir de Biganos et à l'entrée d'Arcachon. Prévoir 20 à 30 minutes supplémentaires les vendredis soir et les samedis matin en haute saison. Notre chauffeur connaît les sorties alternatives et peut emprunter des routes départementales à travers la forêt pour contourner les points noirs. Le stationnement payant à Arcachon coûte jusqu'à 6€ de l'heure en été, ce qui rend le VTC encore plus économique pour les groupes ou les familles. Les dimanches soir de retour sont particulièrement intenses — anticipez votre prise en charge avec 30 minutes de marge supplémentaire en juillet–août.

Arcachon is an iconic seaside resort on the Atlantic coast, known for its oyster basin, the majestic Dune du Pilat (Europe's tallest sand dune at 110m) and its Belle Époque architecture with ornate villas. The Arcachon Bay covers 155 km² and is home to the Île aux Oiseaux with its famous stilt cabins — the photographic symbol of the region. In summer, the town welcomes over 100,000 visitors per day, making parking a nightmare — a VTC from Bordeaux is a much more relaxed solution.
Not to miss around the Bay: oyster tastings directly from the producers in Gujan-Mestras (the oyster capital), the colourful cabins at La Teste-de-Buch harbour, the Arcachon aquarium and the beaches of Pyla-sur-Mer at the foot of the Dune. For nature lovers, the trails of the Leyre Delta Nature Park deserve exploration on foot or by canoe.
In summer (June to September), Arcachon is vibrant: morning markets, beach concerts in the evening, seafood restaurants open until midnight. In winter, the resort regains its calm and authenticity — oyster farmers are more accessible, restaurant prices more reasonable, and beach walks deserted and restorative.
